Can I install a solid wood floor over a concrete slab?
Solid hardwood flooring should not be installed directly over concrete. However, there are alternative options. You may choose engineered flooring options that can be glued directly onto concrete.
How much dust is generated?
There is always dust generated, but we try our best to contain the amount of dust through certain methods.
How long does it take for a floor installation?
All flooring installations vary depending on type of flooring, method of installation (i.e. nail down, glue and nail down, full spread glue down, and click), and square footage of flooring to be installed.
My hardwood flooring shows gaps in the winter season - why?
The weather change in winter causes the flooring to dry out and in turn causes the floor to shrink. The best way to maintain a floor is to keep the house at a humidity level that is appropriate to the type flooring. The humidity level can be obtained by installing a humidifier to your furnace.

Yes, we are insured.
How do I care for my hardwood flooring?
You can care for your hardwood by using either a vacuum or a microfiber cloth. Water should not be used regularly on the flooring, it should be used to spot clean and dried immediately afterward.
